There were three goals of this project. One was to create design with a minimal amount of distractions. Two, was to control the cost of design and development. The third was that Frank Truncale wanted to separate his two professional careers of Carpentry and Audio Production from his active personal blog.
We solved these problems by choosing wordpress and creating custom template pages for three distinct sections of his site. Each section has its own navigation and about page. The result is effectively three sites for the price of one.
Overall the design approach worked. In hindsight, this approach is not the best for usability, but satisfied the clients wishes.
